Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating instructional modifications tailored to each student's IEP (Individualized Education Program) Implement evidence-based teaching strategies for students with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and other special needs, including behavioral therapy techniques and communication skills development Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all students Collaborate closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, behavioral health specialists, and other professionals to support student progress and address individual challenges Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, conduct regular assessments including standardized testing, and update IEPs accordingly Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements, challenges, and upcoming goals through parent-teacher conferences and written reports Integrate educational technology tools into daily instruction to enhance learning experiences and engagement for diverse learners Experience Proven classroom management skills within early childhood or elementary education settings, preferably in special education or preschool environments Extensive experience working with children with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and early intervention strategies Strong understanding of special education law, IEP development process, instructional modifications, and behavior management techniques Familiarity with educational technology integration to support differentiated instruction and student engagement Prior experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success in inclusive settings or private schools such as Montessori or preschool programs Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within diverse educational environments Join us in creating a vibrant learning community where every child's potential is unlocked through dedicated teaching and compassionate support.
