This contract opportunity centers around supporting students with a range of abilities, with a primary focus on autism and multiple disabilities. Youll work full-time in a collaborative setting designed to help each student thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

Certification in Special Education (active and valid in PA) Previous experience working with children with autism and other multiple disabilities Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to implement them effectively Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, and other educational staff Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning needs

Role Highlights:

Provide instruction and support in a small classroom setting (approximately 6 students with autism and 8 with other disabilities) Develop and implement appropriate lesson plans tailored to each students unique learning style and requirements Track student progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student participation and growth Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and other specialists as needed
