Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification/licensure for assigned caseload Bachelor's degree required; eligibility for emergency teaching permit Previous school-based experience, preferably in an urban setting Mastery of subject matter and strong instructional skills Proven classroom and behavioral management expertise Comfortable adapting to district and building-level expectations Must complete all Pennsylvania clearances Reliable transportation necessary Available for onsite work, 35 hours per week, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM Strong record of punctuality and reliability Willing to participate in a Zoom interview
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans Use formative assessment and differentiation to drive instruction Leverage appropriate resource materials Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment Maintain effective communication with students, staff, and families
