9620995-19020 Job Description Make a difference working as a part-time Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) supporting students learning and access to curriculum. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals interested in providing either on-site or virtual services.

Key Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired Experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments preferred Comfort with both direct and indirect service delivery models Ability to provide instruction in reading, writing, and math, with particular strength supporting literacy Strong collaboration skills with general education teachers and support staff Adaptability to evolving service needs as determined by student requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction during 4 scheduled blocks, Monday through Friday (12pm2:45pm), focusing on two reading/writing periods and two math blocks Provide both in-class support and individualized instruction to reinforce skills and foster independence Collaborate with teachers to modify assignments and ensure accessible materials (e.g., enlarged print, additional spacing) Develop and implement accommodations to give students equitable opportunities in the classroom Contribute to assignment collaboration and strategies for academic continuity Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services delivered This role offers highly flexible, very part-time hoursapproximately 13.75 to 15 per weekincluding time for planning and consultative services. The specific schedule may adjust to best meet the students ongoing needs, and providers interested in VOCO (virtual) delivery are welcome.
