Floating / Emotional Support & Learning Support Position Overview We are seeking two Special Education Teachers to support students in grades K-8 through a floating assignment focused on Emotional Support and Learning Support. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated special education professional looking to make a meaningful impact across multiple classrooms and student needs. Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction and support to students in grades K-8. Support students within Emotional Support and Learning Support settings. Adapt instruction and learning materials to meet individual student needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and school leadership. Help create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide appropriate interventions and accommodations. Follow student IEPs and school/district expectations. Qualifications Pennsylvania Special Education certification is required. Candidates must have, at minimum, an Emergency Certificate in Pennsylvania for Special Education. Instructional I or Instructional II Special Education certification candidates will be prioritized when presented to the district. Experience working with K-8 students and/or students receiving Emotional Support or Learning Support services is preferred. Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
