Key Qualifications:

Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate specifically covering Special Education for middle school grades Experience or genuine enthusiasm for working with students on the autism spectrum Strong communication and collaborative skills Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment Capacity for documentation, progress monitoring, and adaptation to individual learning needs

Role Overview:

Lead a class of eight middle school students, providing instructional and behavioral support tailored to their needs Design individualized lesson plans that align with IEP goals Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and families to track student progress Utilize evidence-based strategies for academic, social, and emotional development Incorporate technology and multi-sensory resources to encourage student engagement Maintain daily records, attend IEP meetings, and ensure a safe and productive classroom Work on-site from 7:15am to 2:45pm, Monday through Friday (35 hours weekly, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) Position available now through June 10, 2027 Step into a school environment where your specialized training will be valued and your contributions celebrated.
