Key qualifications for this role include: Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate (required) Experience (or strong interest) in special education, especially working with students on the autism spectrum Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, colleagues, and families Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching methods to suit individual learning needs Youll be responsible for: Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs and academic goals Creating a positive atmosphere that encourages academic, social, and emotional development Collaborating with paraprofessional support staff (PCA) to maintain structured routine and engagement Tracking progress, documenting outcomes, and communicating effectively with families and support teams Contributing to a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom and school community This position is full-time (Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 3:15pm) and runs through May 27, 2027, giving you the stability to build meaningful relationships and lasting positive change.
