Highlights of the

Role:

Manage classrooms serving students with a variety of disabilities, including autism and multiple disabilities Teach in an autism-focused classroom with approximately 6 students Deliver instruction and specialized support to a caseload that includes around 8 students with other exceptionalities Ensure the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with support staff and related service providers Foster a structured, positive, and motivating learning environment that supports all aspects of child development Develop creative strategies and individualized modifications to maximize student engagement and achieve educational goals Maintain ongoing communication with families and participate in IEP meetings to support each child's progress

Preferred Qualifications:

Current certification in Special Education Previous experience teaching students with autism and multiple disabilities preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to establish rapport and trust with students, colleagues, and families Experience implementing differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies Enthusiasm for professional growth and collaboration This position offers a predictable and balanced work schedule: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, allowing for valuable time outside of the classroom each week.
