Key Qualifications:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support role Familiarity with classroom management and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus Dedication to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers with daily instruction, lesson activities, and student supervision Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs Help implement and monitor IEP goals for students receiving special education services Foster student engagement, confidence, and independence through positive encouragement Support students with classroom transitions, routines, and behavior management strategies Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times in accordance with school policies
