Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification required Experience teaching or supporting students in grades 7-12 strongly preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborative approach to working with general education staff, families, and support providers

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction and academic support to students with diverse learning needs Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines Assess academic and behavioral progress, providing interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team collaboration Adapt curriculum and modify instruction to ensure student engagement and success Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment Maintain detailed records and documentation of student progress Youll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and mission-driven environment, bringing out the best in each student you serve.
