Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available within a supportive educational environment in Pennsylvania. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction in early childhood settings, supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Location:
Delaware County Intermediate Unit 25, Broomall, PA Early Childhood Education Centers in
Aston and Folcroft, PA Responsibilities:
Provide specialized educational services to students in early childhood classrooms. Manage caseload effectively, with two classroom needs: one at the Aston Early Childhood Education Center and one at the Folcroft Campus. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Support students' academic, social, and emotional growth through tailored instructional strategies. Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods to meet students' unique needs. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with families and staff.
Qualifications:
Valid certification in Special Education. Experience working with early childhood populations preferred. Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices. Ability to manage multiple classrooms and maintain organizational skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.
Work Schedule:
