Key Qualifications:

Current, active special education teaching certification/licensure suitable for assigned caseload Bachelors degree; required to obtain emergency teaching permit, if needed Proven experience in school settings, preferably working in urban environments Demonstrates strong command of subject matter, instructional strategies, and use of diverse resource materials Ability to craft lesson plans that align with current state and district standards, utilizing formative assessments and differentiation strategies Skilled in managing classrooms effectively, including strong behavioral management techniques Must successfully complete all required Pennsylvania clearances Reliable transportation for consistent onsite presence Able to work onsite between 8:30AM and 4:00PM; no accommodations to scheduling available
