9620995-18974 Job Description Make an impact supporting students with visual impairments in a flexible, part-time opportunity as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI). This contract position offers the chance to work on-site or virtually, based on your availability and location preferences. The need is for approximately 15 hours per week, with focused, consistent scheduling.

What Youll Bring:

Current certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired Experience working in educational settings, preferably K-12 Knowledge of assistive technologies and accessibility tools for visually impaired learners Ability to collaborate with educators, modify assignments, and implement accommodations Strong organizational skills and adaptability with evolving student needs Comfort working independently and communicating effectively in both in-person and virtual settings

What Youll Do:

Deliver direct and indirect services primarily during two daily reading/writing and two math blocks (12pm2:45pm, Monday through Friday) Prioritize literacy support, working closely with students during reading and writing blocks Collaborate with classroom teachers on assignment planning and modification to help students prevent academic regression Modify instructional materials (larger text, spacing, alternative formats) to meet individual IEP needs Offer consultation and training on best practices for supporting visually impaired students Adapt service delivery as students requirements evolve
