Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding remote opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Case Manager for a full-time contract role based in Oregon. Enjoy the flexibility and impact of working virtually while playing a vital role in ensuring every student receives the educational support and resources they need. As a dedicated special education professional, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 35 students, ensuring compliance with all special education requirements, and acting as a key liaison between families, students, and the school team.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current Special Education Teacher certification in Oregon Previous experience in case management for special education students Strong understanding of IEP processes, including preparation, scheduling, and facilitation of IEP meetings Familiarity with monitoring IEPs, reevaluations, and adherence to all required timelines Proficiency in remote/virtual instruction and communication platforms Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Managing a caseload of 35 special education students Conducting and coordinating all aspects of IEP meetings, including scheduling, preparation, and follow-up Maintaining and monitoring compliance with IEPs, reevaluations, and related documentation Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students' educational needs are met Providing virtual support and case management services to students and families Keeping detailed records and adhering to all relevant deadlines If you are passionate about providing accessible and effective support to students with special needs and are ready to take on a meaningful remote position, we want to hear from you.
