Key Qualifications:
Valid Rhode Island Special Education Teaching Certification required Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teaching assistants Strong commitment to individualized education and inclusive classroom practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Teach and support approximately 8 elementary students within a special education classroom, collaborating daily with 3 teaching assistants Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed Maintain detailed and accurate records of student attendance and progress Work Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 3:45pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
