If you have a genuine love for teaching and learning, we could be a great match! Afternoon float shifts are between the hours of 12-6 PM. In times can vary (12, 1, 2, latest is 3 PM). We are looking for Monday- Friday, with a two shift per week requirement. Responsibilities Support classroom teachers by assisting with lesson implementation, activity setup, and student engagement during afternoon hours Supervise children during free play, snack time, outdoor activities, and transitions to promote positive behavior and social skills Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocol Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily updates, behavioral observations, and developmental progress Assist with classroom management strategies to foster respectful interactions and encourage positive behavior Support special education needs by adapting activities for children requiring additional assistance or accommodations Skills Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or preschool environments Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage parents effectively Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is a plus Join us as an Afternoon Float Teacher to empower young minds through energetic instruction and compassionate care.
