Qualifications & Experience:

Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher. Experience or familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Positive, solution-focused attitude and effective classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans addressing student needs and IEP goals. Offer direct instruction and adapt curriculum to accommodate various learning styles. Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, aides, and therapists to support student success. Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with all regulations. Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings and team discussions. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment where every student is valued.
