This contract role is designed for an educator who thrives in a collaborative, supportive setting and has experience adapting teaching strategies for a diverse group of learners. You'll be working with a hybrid classroom that blends resource instruction with opportunities for high-need students to receive more individualized support. Your expertise will guide young learners through foundational skills in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with elementary students, especially PreK-2 Strong background managing social/emotional caseloads Ability to differentiate instruction for a wide range of student needs Collaborative approach with other educators and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education programs for students in a hybrid resource setting Provide focused social/emotional support to help students thrive academically and personally Collaborate with classroom assistants and other special education professionals Foster a safe, caring, and respectful classroom atmosphere Track progress and communicate effectively with families and the school team Adjust instruction as needed for students who require additional support within the classroom setting This exciting contract opportunity allows you to leave a meaningful impact on your students and their families, helping them gain confidence and achieve new milestones.
