Key Qualifications:

South Carolina active teaching license required Special Education certification and Early Childhood degree certification needed for the EC PCD Teacher position (3-4-year-olds) SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement required for the ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained K-3 position Experience working with early childhood and/or elementary-aged children, particularly those with special needs, is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Organizational skills and commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs Create engaging instruction that addresses cognitive, social, and emotional developmental goals Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure consistent support Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress Foster a welcoming, positive learning environment for all students This is a full-time contract opportunity, running through May 27, 2027, with 37.5 working hours per week, entirely onsite.
