Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Current and active South Carolina Teaching License required Dual certification in Special Education and Early Childhood for EC PCD Teacher position (3-4 years old) SPED Multi-Categorical Endorsement required for K-3 ID Mild/Mod Self-contained role Proven experience working with special education programs or early childhood classrooms Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a student-centered approach Ability to manage diverse classroom needs inclusively and effectively

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction in a self-contained or inclusive classroom for students with varied needs Design and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with school teams, families, and support staff to ensure holistic support for each student Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely communication with all stakeholders Cultivate a positive, nurturing classroom that celebrates every learner's achievements
