Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Special Education Teacher, supporting K-6th grade students in a resource, push-in, and pull-out setting. This contract position offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of 36 students, working closely with para support to foster an inclusive and supportive learning experience. The workday runs from 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing a consistent and predictable schedule for planning, instruction, and collaboration.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for state licensure) Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students in special education Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Familiarity with both resource room and classroom support models Strong collaboration skills, particularly with paraprofessionals and general education teachers Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:
