This full-time, on-site contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year and focuses on working with students in specialized programs, including elementary autism and PreK special education. You'll have the chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals and make a difference in students' lives every single day. What You'll Need to
Succeed:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (no emergency certifications, please) Previous experience supporting elementary and/or PreK students with special needs, especially autism spectrum disorders Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with colleagues, students, and families Passionate about fostering inclusion and positive learning environments Adaptable mindset suited to working in a contract-based, school setting
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for a manageable caseload of elementary and PreK students Provide differentiated instruction tailored to a variety of learning abilities within the autism program and other special education settings Collaborate with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust interventions as needed Foster a supportive, encouraging atmosphere where students can reach their fullest potential Experience the fulfillment of helping each student thrive, surrounded by a collaborative network of educators and support staff.
