Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Valid Special Education Teaching Certification Experience designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong understanding of a variety of learning and behavioral challenges Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators, families, and support staff Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Create inclusive, differentiated lesson plans tailored to students' individualized goals Deliver engaging instruction while adapting strategies to address unique needs Track and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Foster a safe, supportive classroom environment where every learner can thrive Maintain thorough, accurate documentation related to IEP compliance Participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and administrators Encourage student independence, self-advocacy, and social-emotional skills
