You'll collaborate with staff and families to design and implement individualized education programs and foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with students with diverse learning needs Familiarity with IEP process and documentation Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized instruction to students according to their specific IEPs Track student progress and maintain accurate, timely records Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet a variety of needs Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other professionals regarding student development Participate in IEP meetings and contribute specialized expertise Create a positive and safe classroom environment where all students feel valued
