Key Qualifications & Skills:

Active Special Education Teacher certification in South Carolina is required Experience in early childhood or preschool special education preferred Ability to adapt instruction and materials to accommodate diverse learning needs Strong collaboration and communication skills with parents, paraprofessionals, and staff Flexible and responsive to change, as program structure and caseload may shift

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group instruction to preschool students in a self-contained classroom Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress, maintaining comprehensive records and documentation Collaborate with related service providers and classroom staff to create a supportive, inclusive learning environment Participate in team meetings and family conferences Adjust instructional strategies to meet changing caseload and student needs
