Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time, in-person position supporting secondary students in a psychiatric residential treatment facility. This position will primarily provide resource support to students in grades 6-12.
Position Details:
Full-time In-person position Psychiatric residential treatment facility serving students in grades 2-12 Primary caseload: Grades 6-12 Resource setting Approximately 15 students on caseload Flexibility to group students for services based on individual needs and teacher discretion
Preferred Experience:
Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (EBD) Other Health Impairment (OHI) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Experience supporting secondary students in a resource setting Strong behavior management and classroom management skills
Requirements:
Active or eligible Special Education teaching certification Experience working with students with EBD, OHI, and ASD Ability to provide individualized and small-group instruction Knowledge of IEP implementation and progress monitoring Strong communication and collaboration skills
