Two full-time contract opportunities are available for Special Education professionals passionate about fostering growth in young learners. This position is ideal for adaptable educators who thrive in a supportive, resource-rich setting and are ready to jump in and make a difference. Youll work onsite, serving either K-2 elementary students with autism or PreK students in self-contained classrooms. Both classrooms benefit from dedicated para support staff and a welcoming educational community. Qualifications & Preferred Experience Active Special Education teaching license or eligibility for emergency or pending certification (including Teachers of America and ITeach program participants) Experience or strong interest in elementary Autism SPED or PreK Special Education settings Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate with caregivers Commitment to individualized instruction and positive behavioral support Willingness to work onsite and support students diverse learning needs Open to traveling candidates and those working towards certification Responsibilities Provide direct instruction to students in a self-contained special education classroom (K-2 Autism or PreK) Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with paraeducators, related service providers, and school teams Support student social, emotional, and academic development Maintain accurate records and comply with special education regulations and timelines Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom climate Immerse yourself in a rewarding, student-centered position where your skills and heart for special education make a real difference.
