9670390-29591 Job Description Step into a dynamic contract position supporting students in a specialized psychiatric treatment facility serving individuals aged 12-18. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, extending from now through June 4, 2027. Youll make a lasting difference as you guide and inspire a caseload of 15 students, each facing unique educational and behavioral challenges. Qualifications:
Valid South Carolina Multi Categorical License CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Certification Proven experience managing severe and intense student behaviors Familiarity with modified grade-level curriculum and instruction Demonstrated ability to coordinate between educational and clinical teams Previous work in psychiatric or treatment settings preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction and support for students with diverse and complex needs Implement behavioral intervention strategies and proactively address behavioral challenges Collaborate with educational staff and clinical partners to develop and monitor IEPs Adapt grade-level materials to meet individual learning and therapeutic goals Maintain clear, timely documentation on student progress, behavior, and interventions Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured classroom environment This is a powerful opportunity to positively shape the educational and personal journeys of students requiring significant support.
