461 endorsement Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction based on students' individual academic and educational needs. Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs. Support students in meeting their IEP goals and accessing the general education curriculum. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation related to IEP goals and services. Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction. Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, related service providers, and families. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of student goals. Maintain a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Support students with varying levels of academic and learning needs. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries within the school environment. Required Qualifications Active 461 endorsement required. Appropriate Special Education certification for the assigned Comprehensive and Mild/Moderate or Intervention caseload. Previous experience working with students receiving special education services preferred. Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to provide individualized instruction based on student needs. Ability to work full-time for the entire 2026-2027 school year. Ability to work effectively in a school-based setting. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience teaching Special Education. Experience supporting students with Comprehensive, Mild/Moderate, or Intervention needs. Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams. Strong understanding of accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
