Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient conditions to develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and immunizations. Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Epic to document patient information, medical histories, and treatment plans efficiently. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding management, and sterile processing. Monitor vital signs, manage acute pain, and respond promptly to emergency situations using critical care techniques. Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with case management teams to ensure seamless patient transitions. Provide education on health coaching, medication adherence, and disease management tailored to diverse populations. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold infection control standards across all clinical activities. Support laboratory specimen collection and processing while ensuring accurate documentation in medical records. Assist in triage assessments in urgent care or emergency room settings to prioritize patient needs effectively. Qualifications Valid RN license with current registration in the applicable state or jurisdiction. Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, long-term care, or hospice & palliative medicine. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Cerner, Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or complex health conditions such as developmental disabilities or dementia care. Competence in critical care procedures including ventilator management and trauma medicine; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is advantageous. Skilled in medication administration, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and aseptic technique. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures, and laboratory experience. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments such as urgent care centers or outpatient clinics.
