Qualifications:

Current Tennessee Special Education Teaching certification with 461 comprehensive endorsement (required) Previous experience working with special education students preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes and differentiated instruction Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement tailored instructional plans that accommodate varying student needs Manage a caseload consistent with district requirements, ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and timelines Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies when needed, and maintaining accurate records Actively participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities Cultivate a supportive and engaging atmosphere to help each student achieve their fullest potential
