Combo Pipe Welders - Carbon & Stainless Steel 4 Openings Available Morristown, TN Trades Exchange (TEX) is actively recruiting experienced Combo Pipe Welders for an industrial mechanical contractor in Maryville, TN. We are looking for skilled welders who can work with both carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems and are ready to join a hardworking team. Job Responsibilities Perform pipe welding on carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems. Perform high-quality welds using TIG (GTAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding processes. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding specifications. Prepare, fit, and weld pipe according to project requirements. Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity. Work alongside pipefitters and other skilled tradespeople to complete industrial piping installations. Follow all jobsite safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Qualifications Previous experience as a Combo Pipe Welder in an industrial or commercial environment. Experience welding both carbon steel and stainless steel pipe. Proficiency in TIG and Stick welding. Ability to read blueprints and pipe isometric drawings. Ability to pass a pipe welding test. Must have reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. Must have required personal protective equipment (PPE). Must be dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
