COMPENSATION

based on your Early Childhood experience- flexible to discuss interview. Kiddie Academy has an opening for a dynamic, caring, and flexible preschool teacher to join our team. This is a vital position requiring positive attitudes, creativity, collaboration, and most of all the versatility to work with children ranging 6-weeks through school. Dependability is a required trait as children rely on their teacher to be present every day. As a Kiddie Academy employee, you'll be a valued member of a passionate team of child care professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. All candidates must meet TN licensing and training requirements, as well as Kiddie Academy training requirements, and pass a background check. CPR and First preferred or be willing to obtain.

RESPONSEABITIES

Responsible for planning and implementing proprietary curriculum Complete assessments and reports throughout the day Supervise children ensuring their health, safety and well being at all times Counsels children when social, academic or needs arise Ensures the appearance and cleanliness of the classroom are appropriately maintained Helps children with meal time and clean up Must be able to speak and write clearly and us basic technology to provide details and daily reports for each child Attends and participates in staff meeting, academy event, and parent/teacher conferences as requested Ensures all Health and Safety protocols are followed at all times Performs other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have effective classroom management and transitions skills Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position Must demonstrate strong dependability with consistence attendance Able to adapt to teaching in any of the Academy classrooms Have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old Present a pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill level as well as with parents, coworkers, and management Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the work day to at least waist high Must be able to work a closing shift 9-6 If you're dependable, motivated by smiles, hugs from children and praise from parents then we encourage you to apply.
