Qualifications:

Valid Tennessee SPED certification required Prior experience in elementary special education strongly preferred Familiarity with creating and implementing IEPs and individualized support plans Strong communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams A compassionate, patient, and student-focused approach

Responsibilities:

Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet each students needs and abilities Manage a K-5 caseload while providing specialized instruction, intervention, and support services Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related services staff Support a positive classroom and school culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion

Position Details:

Contract through the end of the 2026-2027 school year (until 5/27/2027) Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday Immediate start date available
