Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching license meeting Tennessee requirements 460 endorsement or 145 endorsement suitable for Middle School Intervention Previous experience working with middle school-aged students in a special education context preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and accommodations Ability to cultivate a supportive, inclusive classroom where every student can succeed Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, and school teamsKey Responsibilities:
Provide targeted instruction to middle school students in an inclusion/resource room setting Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Collaborate with general education teachers to support co-teaching and push-in interventions Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure effective learning Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians Foster a safe, respectful, and motivating classroom environment This position offers the satisfaction of seeing your impact every day as you help students achieve important milestones.
