What youll need to bring:
Valid Texas Special Education Certification covering assigned grade levels Certification in Content Area/Generalist for grades K-5 Experience or strong interest in serving elementary-aged students Ability to adapt instructional approaches for diverse learners Solid organizational abilities for managing student records, IEPs, and progress monitoring Strong communication and collaborative skills with staff and families Professionalism, reliability, and a student-centered mindset Key responsibilities: Provide instructional support to elementary students via both push-in and pull-out resource settings Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with student needs Work closely with general education and special education colleagues to coordinate services Monitor progress and adjust strategies to maximize academic and behavioral growth Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff Maintain timely and accurate documentation as required by the district and state This is a contract position available immediately and continuing through the end of the school year.
