Qualifications & Experience:

Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience working with students with visual impairments in educational settings Comfort adapting teaching strategies for individual needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Knowledge of assistive technology and accessibility tools is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students functional vision and learning needs Develop and implement individualized instructional plans Provide direct instruction in areas such as braille, orientation and mobility, and use of adaptive technology Consult regularly with teachers and school teams to support classroom inclusion and accessibility Monitor progress and participate in IEP meetings, contributing to student success
