Wild Hearts Nature Preschool is currently seeking a highly qualified 3 - 4's teacher. This is a class of 10 to 12 children and includes an assistant teacher. Wild Hearts is a nature-based preschool, where curiosity, exploration, and outdoor adventures are at the heart of our curriculum. As a lead teacher, you will guide and inspire young minds in an educational setting. Your primary responsibility will be fostering a love for learning through engaging, nature-based educational activities. Your commitment to reliability, experience, and an appreciation for the outdoors will be essential for this position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Designing and implementing nature-inspired lesson plans that cater to various learning styles Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration Collaboration with a team of educators and parents to support each child's holistic development Maintaining accurate records of student progress and actively communicate with parents and guardians Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions Maintaining a clean and organized classroom

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Proven experience working with preschool aged children in an educational environment Passion for outdoor activities and nature-based learning approaches Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to reliability, punctuality, and professionalism Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning
