We are seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for immediate maternity/sick leave coverage near Bridgeport, TX. These roles are full-time (7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.), offering the chance to make a meaningful impact.

Available Assignments:

Role A:

Elementary (K-2nd grade, 4-student caseload, life skills focus; immediate start)

Role B:

High School (life skills, 5-student caseload, starts in November; potential to continue through the end of the school year) Candidates qualified for both may transition from Role A to Role B for extended coverage.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching certification (Texas preferred) Prior experience supporting students with life skills needs Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to individualize instruction for diverse learning needs Flexibility to adapt to different grade levels and student profiles

Your Responsibilities:

Develop, adapt, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for all learners Track student progress and provide regular updates to staff and families Collaborate with colleagues, aides, and related service providers Support students daily living and functional skills development
