Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Texas certification as an Educational Diagnostician Prior experience as an educational diagnostician in a K-12 school environment preferred Strong understanding of special education processes, eligibility determinations, and compliance Exceptional collaboration and communication skills Ability to interpret and present assessment data clearly to staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive educational assessments for students, utilizing a variety of standardized tools and protocols Work closely with teachers, parents, and school team members to interpret evaluation results and recommend interventions Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings Maintain thorough and timely documentation Provide consultative support to instructional staff on best practices for supporting student learning and success
