Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

We are looking for individuals who are professional, reliable, and energetic. You must have a passion for working with young children, sensitive to their individual needs, and have an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices. You must be able to work well with others, understand the importance of positive team interactions and possess strong leadership skills. Our Lead Teachers are responsible for following lesson plans, general classroom management and supervision (including personal care, hygiene and positive discipline of the children) as well as working with parents and other staff members. Must be available to work Monday- Friday. Preschool is open 6:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Alternate Lead Teacher hours vary per classroom but are full time weekly. Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must have or be willing to obtain CPR & First Aid Certification as well as FBI background check and fingerprinting.

Early Childhood Education:
3 year (Preferred)
Child Care Experience:
3 year (Preferred) Willing to train the right individual Education High School or Equivalent (Required) CDA (Child Development Associates) (Preferred) Must be willing to obtain CDA upon hire.
