These full-time contract roles provide a chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of exceptional learners through dedicated life skills programs. The assignments are to cover maternity and sick leave, with the possibility for extended coverage depending on internal hiring. Role A focuses on an elementary caseload, serving K-2nd grade students in a supportive life skills setting. Role B begins in November, supporting high school-aged students in a similar capacity. There is flexibility for candidates interested in both roles, allowing for continuous assignment through the school year. Hours are 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, offering you a consistent schedule.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

Current certification as a Special Education Teacher Demonstrated experience working with life skills students, particularly in K-2nd (Role A) and high school (Role B) Ability to build rapport with learners, staff, and families in a school environment Adaptability and understanding of different instructional strategies Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning experience
