For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Description

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Duncanville, TX seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for the full 26-27 school year . This is a contract opportunity with multiple openings supporting both self-contained and inclusion classrooms . Positions are full-time and ideal for educators passionate about supporting diverse learners across various grade levels and campuses (to be determined).

Pay & Contract Details:

Pay:

$44 to $48 an hour |

Full Time:

37.5 hours per week

Assignment Dates:

8/6/26 through 5/27/27

Setting:

Self-contained & inclusion

Responsibilities:

Create and implement individualized lesson plans Monitor and document student progress Coordinate scheduling directly with parent/guardian Requirements Active Special Education (SPED) certification preferred Ability to manage a flexible, independent schedule Excellent communication skills |
