Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing virtual support to a high school student who is deaf or hard of hearing. This contract position offers the chance to positively impact a students educational journey through specialized assistance, all from the convenience of a remote setting. The assignment runs from ASAP until May 21, 2027, and features a minimal caseload, requiring only 160 minutes of service annually, delivered in eight 20-minute sessions throughout the year.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) licensure for the state of Tennessee (required) Previous experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students, preferably in a virtual instructional setting Adept with virtual communication technology and online instructional tools Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity to cultural and learning differences Ability to create and maintain effective, individualized teaching plans
Key Responsibilities:
