Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who have a wide range of learning, intellectual, emotional, and physical disabilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
  • Provide specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
  • Utilize various teaching methods to promote learning and skill development
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Implement behavioral therapy techniques and manage student behavior effectively
  • Use learning technology to enhance educational outcomes
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
Experience:
  • Experience working with students who may have autism spectrum disorder
  • Proficiency in speech therapy techniques
  • Strong background in special education practices
  • Ability to educate and support students with diverse needs
  • Familiarity with behavioral management strategies
