Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) Previous experience working with students with exceptionalities in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of various instructional strategies, IEP development, and progress monitoring Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Commitment to fostering an empowering, supportive, and safe learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to support a variety of learning styles Collect data and track student progress, providing regular updates and recommendations Collaborate with general education teachers, support personnel, and families to ensure an integrated educational approach Participate in professional development, IEP meetings, and school activities as required
