Qualifications & Experience:

Current Texas special education credential/certification (required) Proven experience or training working with K-12 students in special education settings Ability to create and adapt Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and organizational skills Collaborative mindset and commitment to inclusive education practices

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to diverse student needs, ages, and abilities Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs in cooperation with families and school staff Foster an encouraging, inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and social growth Employ a variety of classroom management techniques to promote positive behaviors Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to IEP meetings and evaluations Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student goals Advocate for resources and services that enable students with special needs to thrive Enjoy a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours across five days, working with students from kindergarten through grade 12.
