What We're Looking For:

Active certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (state credentials required) Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, in mainstream or specialized classroom settings Strong understanding of deaf education best practices, including direct instruction, language development, and assistive technology Ability to develop and adapt instructional materials based on individual student needs Proficiency in sign language (ASL or other as appropriate), and effective communication skills with students, families, and colleagues Flexible, collaborative approach with a passion for inclusive education
