Key Qualifications:

Valid Texas Educator License with EC-6 Special Education Endorsement Required experience in facilitating Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, including active participation and collaboration Ability to support the diverse needs of students in a self-contained life skills setting Strict adherence to dress code policy, which includes keeping any tattoos covered, maintaining single-color hair, wearing professional attire, and limiting piercings to appropriate earrings

Core Responsibilities:

Design and deliver individualized instruction for students with a range of abilities and needs Participate in all Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student supports and services Collaborate with instructional teams, therapists, and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment Maintain detailed records of student progress and comply with all established documentation protocols Communicate clearly with families and caregivers regarding student growth and next steps Consistently implement school policies and classroom management strategies to promote respect, community, and equality
