Position Overview:
As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities while working closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide specialized instruction based on student needs Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning Communicate with families regarding student progress Create a positive and supportive classroom environment Use appropriate strategies and accommodations to help students succeed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Active Texas Special Education teaching certification Previous school-based experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for working with students with diverse learning needs Interested in learning more?
